Originally from Austin, Texas, Gabriel grew up in the small town of Wimberely,  and was infused from a young age by music from this parents and the surrounding Texas Hill Country. Starting with piano at age eleven, jumping quickly to guitar at thirteen, learning bass guitar at eighteen and playing in a band right after high school, learning drums on the drummers kit and expanding his musical abilities all along the way. Now living in Los Angeles and after having built a bedroom music studio, uses his music skills to write and compose pieces based on a vast array of influences from rock, jazz, blues, country, folk, psychedelic, classical, ambient and electronic music. After having made a pivot into the film industry, it became a natural choice to pursue music within the filmmaking practice.
